This course is designed for people in critical well control positions on drilling installations as well as onshore roles.
This course is for people who are in critical well control positions during well intervention operations.
This course identifies the knowledge and skills essential to well control instruction for Drilling Operations personnel
This course identifies the knowledge and skills essential to well control instruction for Well Servicing personnel
In pursuit to discover oil and gas in ever deeper horizons, wells are often drilled in what is known as a High Pressure High Temperature [HPHT] environment and the drilling these usually expensive wells successfully, the planning and execution phase has to be of an exceptionally high standard.
Stuck Pipe is, and historically has been, a major headache for the Oil & Gas Industry. Many wells have become more challenging in terms of well trajectories, hole size [smaller] and because we are more focused on pushing the ‘drilling limit’.
This course aims to familiarize attendees to the unique world in which we drill and complete a well. As a result, at the end of the course attendees will have a better understanding of all phases of drilling and well intervention operations and should be able to put this understanding to good use in their daily work activities.
This Basic Well Engineering Course VILT has been designed to provide participants with a thorough knowledge of well engineering principles. Based on the global practices, API Standards and Specifications and using real examples, this represents how well engineering is managed within the oil and gas industry.
The International Health and Safety Passport and fully online e-IHSP ensure that individuals possess a recognised level of health and safety knowledge and awareness to work on engineering and construction sites worldwide.
